IERI Meetings
International Educators of Rhode Island (IERI) meets three times a year to discuss immigration changes, international student and scholar services, and pertinent issues concerning study abroad. Many times, we have speakers from the DMV and immigration services to help us understand the business processes of these agencies. In addition to discussing timely topics concerning international education, IERI meetings provide networking opportunities and updates from NAFSA Region XI and national teams. We rotate our meeting location each year. Please check the Region XI Events calendar for upcoming meetings.

We are thrilled to announce that our next IERI State Meeting will be held at the University of Rhode Island this summer! This free event is open to international education professionals across Rhode Island and the surrounding region. It’s a great opportunity to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and recharge as a community.

- Networking with colleagues across institutions

- Optional tours of URI’s marine science and research facilities
