From NaFFAA Region 8: Town Hall Meeting & Palabokan on July 6, 2011
NaFFAA Region 8 and the US Pinoys for Good Governance are very grateful for the Philippine Consulate General-San Francisco’s generosity in providing the space at the Philippine Center to have a Town Hall Meeting in preparation for the Global Summit in Manila this September 2011, spearheaded by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas. There will be some issues that will be discussed, such as comprehensive immigration reform advocacies (i.e., The Dream Act, which could help find a solution for DREAMers) and the Spratly Islands issue, that have been initiated by community-based groups and are not spearheaded by the San Francisco Post (Philippine Consulate). We appreciate the gracious hospitality of our Consulate!
